About Us
LB Electrical Contracting Limited was started in 2020 by Louis Brown after eight years experience working on domestic, commercial and industrial sites across the south coast. Today the team continue to do so.
Every job is signed off against BS 7671 wiring regulations and logged with NICEIC. We give a written quote before starting, explain what we find along the way. Jobs fully complete, pictured audit / certification on completion. No job left half-finished.
We work directly with homeowners, landlords, property management companies and a handful of local building firms.

Do you carry out both small jobs and larger installations?
Yes. Our services include lighting and socket work, fault finding, consumer unit upgrades, full and partial rewiring, and EV charger installations for homes and businesses.
Can I book an EICR inspection?
Contact us with the property type, location and any existing electrical reports. We can discuss inspection and testing, the report, and any remedial work that may be needed.
Do you work outside Hampshire?

- Enquiries and quotations: your name, contact details, postcode and the job details you provide. We use these to respond, assess the work and prepare a quotation. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to general business enquiries.
- Electrical work: contact and property details, correspondence, job records and certification information needed to arrange and perform agreed work. Our lawful basis is performance of a contract; applicable statutory records are processed to meet legal obligations.
- Administration and disputes: relevant correspondence and transaction records where needed to meet legal obligations or pursue our legitimate interests in managing the business and establishing or defending legal claims.
- Website security: technical information such as IP addresses, request times and browser details may be processed by the hosting service to deliver and protect the website. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure service.
We receive enquiry information directly from you. Please provide only information relevant to the job and avoid sensitive personal information. Required form fields are needed to handle your enquiry; optional fields are marked. If you do not provide sufficient contact or job details, we may be unable to respond or quote.
Sending an enquiry does not sign you up to marketing. This website does not use advertising trackers, behavioural profiling or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Who receives information?
Public reviews: when you submit a review, your name, rating, review text and posting date are stored and displayed publicly. A notification is sent to our business email. Please avoid private or sensitive details; contact us if you want your review corrected or removed.
Coverage map: when you open Areas Covered, map images are requested from OpenStreetMap. Those requests share your IP address, browser information and our website origin with its tile service. The map does not request your device location.
Information is used by the people who need it to respond to your enquiry or deliver the service. Our website hosting and email providers process information to support this. Website enquiries sent through our contact service are delivered to our business email using Google's email service. Where necessary for a job or a legal obligation, relevant information may also be shared with certification bodies, professional advisers, insurers or public authorities. We do not sell your personal information.
International processing
Service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this is a restricted transfer, UK data protection law requires an applicable adequacy regulation or appropriate safeguards, such as approved contractual terms, unless a legal exception applies. How long information is kept
Enquiry information is needed while we assess, quote for and follow up the requested work. If work proceeds, relevant information becomes part of the job record. Information should be deleted or anonymised when those purposes no longer require it. Contact us for the retention period applicable to your particular record.
Your rights
